hello.

there seems to be a sudden void on discussions relating to the competition commision's investigation into the banking charges fiasco in South Africa.

I find this topic of great interest as im still in the dark as to why i pay an arm and a leg on banking charges.

I also find it crazy that its almost impossible to compare the product i use against the other products out there?

anyway i thought i could generate some interest in this area...i read a great piece in the M&G (http://www.mg.co.za/articlePage.aspx?articleid=315987&area=/columnist__maya_fisher-french/) this week on a new site launched that looks to be tackling this bank charges nightmare.

i have spent some time playing on www.thinkmoney.co.za and think these guys are onto something great.

im keen to see what the community out there thinks...

Hi Bel,

Thanx for your suggestions.

I will investigate the status of the banking charges and share anything I find. Did you want to know about the saswitch charges specifically?

I read about the thinkmoney service on Virgin Money S.A. / Vincent Maher's blog called MoneyTalks, and I think it is great too.
