1) Step One

Contact the Credit Bureau:
Contact the same credit bureau which issued your credit report and log a dispute! (make sure you keep your reference number)

  • TransUnion - call centre 0861 482 482
  • Experian S.A. - call centre 0861 105 665

If your complaint has not been resolved, proceed to Step 2.

2) Step 2

Contact the Credit Information Ombud(CIO).

The CIO can assist and instruct the credit bureaus to address your complaint.

If your complaint has not been resolved, proceed to Step 3.

3) Step 3

Contact the National Credit Regulator (NCR).
The National Credit Regulator will investigate the matter and ensure that it is resolved.
